We are four college friends with a love for brook trout and salmon and the places they inhabit. We explore the far reaches of New England and Canada in pursuit of these species and all the related hyjinx that go along with the pursuit. We have fished many different fly rods and used many different reels and lines and came to the conclusion that the fish just don't care what equipment we use!

We got tired of going to purchase equipment and having one of two things happen.......either there was no equipment for catching trout and salmon or the equipment that was available cost a small fortune. So we spent a few years trying out a variety of equipment and selected equipment that performs awesome and doesn't cost a fortune.
